Regardless of availability of variable fonts, you might want to be cautious about use of such fonts for websites given that not all popular browsers either fully or even partially support their use as intended.

Unfortunately, our Variable Concept fonts (such as Minion Variable Concept) are not yet commercially available. For the time being, they are only available to use within Illustrator and Photoshop. The Source Variable fonts available at GitHub (https://github.com/adobe-fonts) are all we have available for the web.

If you have further questions you're welcome to email font support directly at support@typekit.com.

Are you an Adobe employee?

Is this font available for personal or corporate commercial use?

Is it free for commercial use for product text and design work?

The Minion Variable Concept font included in apps like Adobe Illustrator can be used in personal and commercial projects just as long as the Adobe apps are being used to create the work.

One word of caution: variable fonts are not well supported in PDF files. An Illustrator document that is saved in a PDF preset other than the Illustrator default may result in text objects styled with variable fonts being converted to outlines or static subsets of the original variable fonts.
