Font : Anton. Cannot install anymore.

Hi!

This is my first post here.
I´ve used font called Anton several projects and now all of a sudden there is message in Creative Cloud app that "this font cannot be installed".

Why this happened? I´m in trouble now because I need that font to my project. Client is not happy if that font isn´t available anymore. Neither am I.

I hope someone of you have time to answer me.

My colleagues and I have been having this issue as well. We often are working off the same files and are curious if the issue could be from receiving a file with Anton from Google and us having the Adobe version. We have tried Bobby’s steps below a few times and nothing.

I haven’t tried to see if it is possible to have both the Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts versions of Anton added/installed without it causing some sort of conflict. Anton is also available at some other free fonts web sites. Different sites may be carrying different version builds of the font file. That could be another source of font substitution error box problems.

There is a number of different troubleshooting steps that can be taken for fonts that won't add/install via Adobe Fonts. Signing out of the Creative Cloud account and signing back in again can force a refresh of the fonts database. Deleting the font data cache on the computer and forcing the computer to rebuild it can help.

Outside of those steps and others, if you can't get the version of Anton at Adobe Fonts to work on your computer you can download it at the Google Fonts web site.
