I recently purchased Font Folio 11 for a customer.  I am not familiar with the software.  When att

empting to install, I realized there are no install files.  Am I missing something?

Correct, there's no installer software. You'll just need to take the font files and install them on your system. You can find the instructions at http://www.adobe.com/type/browser/fontinstall/instructions_english.html

I'll just note that you should NOT install all the fonts that come in the DVD at the same time. That would slow your computer quite a bit, and make the font selection menus unnecessarily long. Install just the fonts you really need at a given time.

Thank you.  Is there any recommended font managing softwares out there that are

inexpensive to be used in conjunction with the font folio?

This Wikipedia page lists a lot of them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Font_management_software

I can't make any recommendation because I don't use font managers.

Here's an article from Thomas Phinney which might give you some advice http://blogs.adobe.com/typblography/2007/10/win_font_mgmt.html  The comments have good information as well.
