Font Licensing for Band Merch

so im only a student and i dont really know about this kind of stuff!

i was asked to create a band logo, and in it i used a Didot medium typeface, and Futura medium.
These are going to be used a number of times by the band for example on CDs/t shirts and band merch. what do i and they need to do to be able to do this legally and without getting sued basically haha.

what sort of licenses and stuff do we all need etc?
