Question

Font suggestions?

Curious if anyone would offer some suggestions.  I'm trying to redesign a magazine about helicopters.  🙂   I think the fonts look dated -- most of the body copy is in Dutch 801 with headlines in Futura.  Doesn't really have a sleek look to it.  Thoughts on good font choices?  I was thinking sans-serif for the text and have been toying around with some different combinations.   I need easy-to-read and gravitated toward Helvetica, but that's probably not interesting enough.

Any suggestions for some fonts I should experiment with?  I have the Adobe collection so could work with most any of those.

Just wondering if the topic sparks any ideas for anyone while I dig through a book of font combos.  I always have a hard time picking out fonts.

Thanks, Phyllis

I like News Gothic (just realized our logo is in that font), but I wish it had an extended family!  I'm considering it though.  Looks great in headlines, not so sure about body text (and I usually work in pairs rather than the same font for headline/body).

Anyway, open to trying suggestions if anyone has any....

Looking at oodles of fonts...  I like Gotham.  I don't own it, but it's a huge family.  Might be worth investing in.  Anyone use it?  And would you think it a good choice for magazine text?
