Font used in a document created with Report Designer turns out different in PDF format

Hi,

I have created a report with Report Designer using Century Gothic font. The Report Designer tool sits within a vendor application, which then converts the report into PDF.

The fonts in the PDF turn out to be MS Sans Serif.

What could be the issue here?

thank you.

    Hi @LW2022,

Even that we are willing to help: you should contact either Microsoft or your vendor application support on this.

Look into the PDF creation process.

Using Acrobat, File→Properties, navigate to the Fonts tab and look if and what fonts are getting embedded.

Can you open the pdf in Acrobat Pro and check font embedding? You might post in the Acrobat forum as there are people there will extensive knowledge about troubleshooting pdf.

A bug in the report designer tool or vendor application. Contact support for the tool.

It's surprising to see MS Sans Serif in a PDF, though. How do you check this?
