Question

Futura PT

Hi

Does anyone know when Adobe started including Future PT as one of their fonts.  I know it is cleared for personal and commercial use now, but when did this start?

Wow, it’s fascinating how fonts like Futura PT continue to shape modern design! I recently read an article on Creative Fabrica (https://www.creativefabrica.com/the-artistry/creative-fabrica-news/a-new-era-of-generation-is-coming/) about the new era of generative creativity, and it seems like classic fonts like Futura PT are becoming even more relevant. The combination of clarity, minimalism, and modern tools opens up incredible opportunities for designers. Do you think this font adapts well to AI-driven generative projects?

I couldn't give you an exact date, but it doesn't seem like all that long ago that Paratype's version of Futura was added to Adobe Fonts. It might take someone from Adobe's staff or a representative at Paratype to answer that question.
