Glyph Help?!

I have purchased the font ITC Avant Garde Gothic for a client and it turns out it is missing the one glyph they use regularly for Māori words! The straight macron above the 'a'. Is there any way to find a version of the font with this glyph included or any way to add the glyph to the font family?!
