My PC won't support Helvetica Neue, but I need it for a project. Can I download it to Typekit instead of having to install it on my computer? Is there a way to legally download Helvetica Neue to my PC?

Correct answer mollybd

Helvetica Neue is owned by the foundry Monotype; it is not offered by Adobe or Typekit. The only legal way to install the font on your computer is to purchase a license from Monotype or one of their resellers:

Helvetica® Neue - Webfont & Desktop font « MyFonts

I assume it's a Windows PC - which version?

And: What file type is your Helvetica Neue? An outdated Type 1 font?

If you haven't got a *.ttf or *.otf version of Helv. Neue then you have to buy the font faces you need.
