Hey everyone!

I am new here and from what i see this is a great forum!  Hopefully along time ahead for me here!

I am normally pretty good with fonts, but this one has me stumped.  I was asked by a client to reproduce his logo as he lost his original  high res file ( i know haha).  Seeing as this was going to be an easy task I took the job.  This font has caused me hours of stress...  If any of you have seen it around I would greatly appreciate the name.   I have tried whatthefont and every other font resource.

Here is the link:

Thanks in advance guys!!

Probably Herb's suggestion is the easiest/best.

The logo may be based on one of the heavier weights of Kasse, a no-longer-legitimately-distributed typeface formerly from Casady & Greene before they went out of business. If so, it has been customized from the font. But at least the K looks like a very close match to me.

Since Casady & Greene does not have anybody watching out for their intellectual property, you can find Kasse available online from various "free font" sources.

If all you need to do is reproduce the logo, it's relatively trivial

to create a vector version, which would be completely scalable, as a

font would be. Just because the logo happens to consist of letters

doesn't mean that it was ever a font. It's very likely to have been a

unique creation, but it's also possible that there's a matching font.

A scalable vector file (.EPS or .AI or even .EMF) would be created

either by manually re-drawing the logo with a program like Adobe

Illustrator or Corel Draw or any other Draw (rather than Paint)

program. Or it could initially be autotraced by those same programs or

other tracing programs. If auto-traced, it would require some manual

work after the autotrace, which is seldom perfect.

Now if you're trying to create additional similar-looking text and not

just the logo, that's a different story. You might have to find the

original basis font, or possibly create a font from scratch.

Thanks for the quick responses guys!

My initial thought was that I was going to have to go the vector route.  I will take a look at the Kasse Font types though!

    Again, truely appreciated!
