I purchased a font 4 years ago, which shows under my registered purchases.  However, the font is not showing in photoshop.  Does anyone know how I can recover it?

Does anyone know what this font is calledI have asked many people about it and and got no response and this is my last resort to finding it. ​I would really appreciate your answers

Hi, I wanted to get an opinion on point/font size for a résumé.I've been finding it hard to find a balance between legibility white space. The ideal aesthetic point size for me it around 6 for body type and slightly more for headings and subheadings. This let's the layout breath and looks nice for me to read on screen. Of course when it comes to printing it out, (A4) it's not very legible, especially for people who need reading glasses. I find I have to bump the size to 10-12 before it looks readable enough, again making the design look cluttered and unbalanced.  Saying this, can you offer any tips when working with type in a résumé? How do you find a balance between looks and legibility?Thanks a lot

e have the Adobe DC and want the asian fonts.  Do we have to install Adobe reader?

I'm currently work on text, which intented to be read on screen. For that reason, body text should be quite large, 15-16 points.I use both InDesign CS6 and Word 2016 for this project.As I discovered, at some specific sizes, Adobe fonts looks different in InDesign and Word. I don't understand why. (Any help is welcome).I tested with Minion Pro, Arno Pro, Garamond Premiere Pro and Times New Roman (the last is TTF, shipped with Windows).Picture 1: InDesign CS6. Top - Minion Pro, bottom - Times New Roman. There are no problems here, both fonts looks good in all sizes.Picture 2: Word 2016 (or recent LibreOffice Writer, no difference). Top - Minion Pro, bottom - Times New Roman. As you can see, at 16 points Minion dramatically increases it's thickness.Why I have such unpleasant look in Word and LibreOffice? Hi,I'm completely new to all this and have been getting a bit confused. Basically I want to understand what I can and can't use for client work e.g logos/leaflets etc. I have just bought the adobe cloud for individual and will mainly be using Photoshop and Illustrator.  Are all the fonts that came with Photoshop/Illustrator when I signed up the the Creative Cloud free to be used for 'Print and Preview Embedding'? I have looked at the 'Understanding Font Permissions' and the 'Font Permissions Table' but have noticed for example that a font that appears in Photoshop/Illustrator isn't listed (Zapfino) so how do I know how fonts like this can be used? Also, I wanted to use the font 'American Typewriter' in a logo for a client.  The idea being to produce a design that can be used on signs and other promotional printed items. I have InDesign CC, which comes with the equivalent of the portfolio font sync package.My understanding is that the portfolio includes all of Typekit. But some fonts, like Pointer Old Style, are not available to sync.Why is that?Thanks

In my document, I use about 3 fonts, but when I package it for printing it shows 18 fonts are present. This freaks out the next person up the line and I don't how to fix this even though I did not use them. Any thoughts?.

Hi all. Looked everywhere in these forums and couldn't find an answer. I should start by saying I'm using Mac OSX Yosemite and Adobe CC 2017.I have the font Gotham OTF installed on my system with multiple styles:I don't know if this is connected, but for whatever reason in Font Book, the font isn't separated correctly by its styles:My question is, how do I get Photoshop to recognize all the styles? When I try to select Gotham from the font options, I only see three styles. For clarification, I don't need the condensed versions. Any ideas?

I purchased the Malgun Gothic font from FontShop today and cannot figure out how to install it so that it will be visible in InDesign CC 2017, Photoshop, and Illustrator.  I can see the font in Microsoft products.  Thanks for any feedback.

Hello, I have a large client that is using 'Ideal Sans' as their main font for system generated forms (generated via custom built industry proprietary software that can only use True Type files correctly).The client has invested a good deal of time and money into having these forms designed and now developed.The problem is that the developer has not been able to get 'tabular lining' or 'lining figures' to work, and it's messing up the design.Hoefler customer service has been of no help to the client, the designer, or the developer.The client is now asking for a recommendation for an alternative font to replace all of the numbers in the design.They would like a True Type font that has lining characters by default that would successfully complement Ideal Sans in aesthetic. Any help, assistance, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Type & Typography experts,is it possible or legal to use the font "Futura Std" on printed Flyers (commercial and non-commercial use) without buying the font-license extra?I use Photoshop and InDesign CS6 but the font is not included at my PC but at my MAC. Would it be legal if I create my flyers 1. on the Mac, 2. on both machines or 3.on none of them?!

I have an older, non TypeKit license of – let’s say – Myriad on my machine. This font isn’t activated all the time, but only when needed.What happens, when I forget activating my existing Myriad, and I open a document, which needs this font? In InDesign CC 2014 a dialogue pops up, asking to install the missing font via TypeKit.What, if I do this? Will TypeKit Myriad overwrite my Myriad, what means eventually, the font is gone, when I cancel my CC subscription?

Hi guys,  I'm designing a website for a client and was interested in purchasing helvetica regular/normal. I have this font installed on my computer from previous work i'v done in my old office a long time ago but i need to license this for my correct client for web usage.Problem is, I cant find it. I can only find helvetica neue which is not the same. It's strange, i know it exists, i can see other websitesuse it (i use what font plugin), i can test it in different web font platforms(CSS Font Stack: Helvetica Web Font ),i can find it for free, but no where can i purchase it.So i figured ill try helvetica neue for a parallel.  After some testing in fontshop with, i realized medium 65 looks the same as the regular/normal (at least there).But when I test with it in Photoshop it looks completely different while the helvetica regular i have installed looks exactly like the web version.I really cant understand what am i missing...Anyone got any ideas?

I'm doing some research into the laws surround typefaces when used in a physical product, such as house numbers or home decor lettering.  I would use Illustrator to create the vectors. What type of license is needed for this use on a commercial scale? Are there different "tiers" based on company size? Does the legality change if the manufacturer does or doesn't include the typeface name in the product name? Is it legal to modify a glyph for this use?The particular fonts I'm interested in are Helvetica and Futura.Thanks!

It has been extremely frustrating trying to get any information from Adobe about how to upgrade my licensed Font Folio from v11 to v11.1. On the Website, there are dead and missing links, and no pricing, except for the full $2995+ versions with five seats or more. (Depending upon pricing, I'd want 2-to-5 seats covered for my upgraded software.)On the phone with Adobe, there is also confusion about this product, and I've been provided with links to Adobe Portfolio and Behance, rather than Font Folio. The recommended third-party reseller has to research the pricing.So, any guidance would be greatly appreciated. If a secret handshake is the solution, please clue me in. Thanks.Neil

Hi, I was sent to the forum to ask my question. I had fontfolio installed on my machine. I suffered a hard drive crash and am rebuilding it. I'm looking to download fontfolio again but it's not listed in my creative cloud apps list or anywhere in my adobe account.  I really relied on this software and need to get it back.
