Ligatures in Office 2010

Office 2010 provides ligatures for suitable OTF-fonts. It works fine for Adobe Caslon Pro, Garamond Pro, Chaparral Pro, Kepler, Myriad, Tekton Pro, ... But it doesn't for Myriad Pro. Microsoft hotline answered, this could be a problem of the Adobe font. Any idea? Are you able to reproduce the problem with Word 2010 and Minion Pro?

I just tried using ligatures in Word 2010 using Myriad Pro. Word 2010's automatic substitution feature worked properly, substituting ligatures for ff and fi. Perhaps your copy of Myriad Pro is corrupted. Have you tried to see whether the ligatures appear in another program, e.g., in InDesign? Or, if it is just a particular ligature that did not appear, have you checked Myriad Pro's glyph list to see if Myriad Pro contains the particular ligature?

    Hi,

thanks a lot. Fonts may have been corrupted. After reinstalling them everything worked fine.
