Hi-
I'm not sure if this is the right place for me to be posting this question but if anybody can help me with this, it would be appreciated. I have been using a PC for years but now I have decided to switch to a Mac. I'm a graphic designer and have a huge collection of windows-based fonts. I just purchased a brand new MacPro and I was just wondering if windows-based fonts will work on a mac? If not, what would you suggest I should do?

Thanks

No, it's not. The Adobe.Typography forum would be more appropriate
than this font development software group. But if it were, this would
be an answer ...

PC Truetype fonts work under Mac OS X

PC Type 1 fonts can work, but ONLY with Adobe applications, and if
placed in a specific folder. Technically, they can be converted to
Mac format.

Regardless of the technical possibilities, you are bound by the terms
of the license agreements applicable to each font. Some may allow a
limited number of multiple copies, some may allow or disallow
conversions, and there are numerous other permutations of the
possibilities.
