Hey,

As a part of a new design language, the font Myriad pro was choose.

To make sure all employees are align with that, i need to install the font for all company computes.

Is the font free for commercial use?

I saw in many web sites that the font can be download for free.

but I want to know for sure, in order to avoid any legal issues.

Thanks!

Hagit

No, Myriad Pro is not a free font.

Although some of its faces are bundled with some Adobe products, it is not free for use for anyone who has not licensed the products for which it was bundled.

Any website that offers a “free” copy of any of the Myriad Pro typefaces is doing so illegally and anyone downloading same is also doing so illegally!

The font may be sourced legally from any number of font foundries.

Thank you foe the quick answer Dov.

Do you happen to know, if you need to install the for about 1000 employees (the whole company actually), how does it work?

do i need to buy a multi-licence? is there such an option?

You would need to purchase a volume license (yes there is) and then find a way of installing the font(s) on all your systems.
