Question

Photoshop still listing deleted fonts

I downloaded a font that ended up being problematic and causing errors. I deleted this font a few months ago and realized that it is still listed in my Adobe programs. I have the most recent versions. I have cleared my Mac font cache and the Photoshop font cache, and it has made no difference. Every time I'm scrolling through and hover over this font, it throws error messages and has been frustrating me a great deal. Any suggestions to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Was the typeface from Adobe Fonts or somewhere else?

Does it also show up in other applications such a Word?

How did you delete the typeface?

Look at this support page from Apple and see if it helps:

It was from somewhere else, though I don't recall where. Lesson learned, don't download fonts from unreliable sources.

I don't have Word, but it shows up in my other Adobe applications.

Thanks for the link, but that was how I deleted the typeface initially. I removed it from Font Book and deleted the file.
