Postscript Font won't Install or anything to Mac.

I've been trying to install the Eurostile font on my Mac for a project in Adobe Illustrator CC and have had zero luck. I've placed the font in font folders, tried to install it via Font Book and even tried just double clicking the fonts with no luck. I'v searched for a few hours for helpful articles but everything I found didn't really help much from what I saw. When I've placed the fonts in the Fonts folder, the font doesn't show up in any program.

Does the newest version of OS X not allow Postscript fonts?
