Talk about Font PAIRING

I often want to ask what people what they think about font pairs. Are there any groups here, where the members focus primarily on font pairings?

Like, for example, whether or not Bruna and Baskerville work together to create the desired mood? etc.…

WHERE can one find those Discussions?

    Hey @zalel

You may want to join us on Illustrator on Discord, Design Buddies on Discord, and/ or Behance.

I think the Type & Typography forum would be the place in Adobe Community to talk about typeface combinations (good, bad or meh) as well as other opinions and observations about the use of type in graphic design.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot of activity in this specific forum, which I think speaks to the larger problem of so many people just winging it when it comes to using type. I work in the sign industry and I see some of the most horrible use of type in that field of graphic design.

Regarding Bruna and Baskerville, I'm not sure those two work great together. There are several versions of Baskerville. I like the old Berthold "BE" version that was bundled with Adobe Illustrator a long time ago. It has more of a slab serif feel. If I'm going to pair a sans serif typeface with Baskerville I'd probably go with a more geometric looking typeface like Futura or Proxima Nova.
