Technical FontFolio Question...Please help

Hello-
I have a user interested in FontFolio, I've forwarded them all of the product information that I could find and they sent me the following response...

I think these fonts will work. For each fonts we are embedding we need .afm, .pfm and .pfb files. As long as these file types are provided it should work.

Would anyone here be able to confirm or deny this for me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I just got an Adobe Font Folio. In the archive contained two files. It is Adobe Font Folio.BIN and Adobe Font Folio.cue.cue.

How to access it because the icon of the files shows that the file do not have an appropriate program to open it.

Thanks.

You're talking about Type 1 fonts for Windows. So you'd need to get the old Font Folio 9 instead of the more recent Font Folio OpenType Edition. Adobe still sells Font Folio 9, although we haven't made a new Type 1 font since 1999 (all OpenType since then)

Cheers,

T
