Text appears unreadable at various places

Question

Hello, I am working with Illustrator and when I combine pages that appear readable prior to combining, then afterwardds the text appears to almost be bleached out and unreadable at random locations in document? Any hekp would be greatly appreciated in resolving this issue. Thanks

If you work with Illustrator be sure NOT to convert text to curves. This is a normal effect in that case. However, this does not look like Work made in Illustrator - how was it originally made?
