Trendy News typefaces?

Anyone know what the current typeface trends in today's news broadcasts? I notice Trade Gothic was popular in the early 2000s. I see a lot of stations use Din lately. Are there any other modern ones you notice?

    Vern,

I think the apostrophe issue is more the fault of the person sitting at the keyboard than anything else. Many people are absolutely clueless when it comes to quotes. I even see ` (grave) and ´(acute) used. I also see a lot of misplaced accents over vowels in Spanish names.

Like a fingernail on the blackboard!

I don't know, but I do notice that most don't seem to come with proper apostrophes or quotes ;-)
