Is there a method for transferring this font from the old system to the new?

You didn't indicate exactly which “Wood Type font” you are dealing with, but assuming that your license for the font allows such transfer, this is relatively easy.

For Type 1 fonts, copy the .pfb and .pfm files associated with the font to your new system into a work directory. Then right click on the .pfm file and use the Install function.

For OpenType CFF fonts, copy the .otf file associated with the font to your new system into a work directory. Then right click on the .otf file and use the Install function.

For TrueType and OpenType TrueType fonts, copy the .ttf file associated with the font to your new system into a work directory. Then right click on the .ttf file and use the Install function.
