What does "PRO" denote?

My team produces catalogs using InDesign that include measurements which I would dearly love to display as case fractions. We have tried to implement a GREP script that does this, but it only seems to work with fonts with PRO in their name. Is this coincidence, or is this part of what earns these fonts the "pro" designation?

For the font families in our library, Pro means that they support at least Central European (CE) languages in addition to the basic Latin-1 set of characters.

Many of our Pro fonts also have an OpenType feature that enables the creation of arbitrary fractions. Very few Std families provide this functionality. Look for families that have the Diagonal Fractions icon.
