Windows 11 Beta - Font Alternate Stopped Working in Photoshop

I'm a Beta tester for Win 11 and Adobe's Facebook page referred me to post my issue here.

Photoshop uses a dropdown to apply alternate glyphs and characters for premium OTF fonts. Since installing Win 11, this function no longer exists, and there's no other way to access the special characters. (I.E., they're unavailable through character map, etc.)

Uninstall/reinstall of fonts no help. Re-downloaded a clean copy of my most expensive font from the seller and reinstalled. No help.

I sent this up through the Win Feedback Hub but since most Win Insider participants are tech specialists and NOT designers, there's so far been zero response. I haven't been able to find an online fix (and suspect there may be none, since it appears to be an Adobe users who employ custom fonts NOT to upgrade to Win 11.

So far that's the only bug I've seen, but it's obviously a big one. I work with designers who have purchased 10K+ fonts, and their purchased fonts will be rendered largely useless if they upgrade.

    Windows 11 has not yet been released, it is only a preview/beta/early access.

    I'm aware. However, it's due for release shortly and if no one reports the issue, it also won't get fixed.

    I'd bet large sums of cash that both Adobe and Microsoft are doing compatibility testing. Yes its good to report but this is common with Adobe, they release a supported update once the OS upgrade ships.

    Correction since some of my text was stripped out.

    This appears to be an issue of the interface between Adobe, Windows, and their font processing structure, so it will likely need to be resolved through Windows-Microsoft.

    Until resolved I am recommending designers do NOT upgrade to or purchase machines with Windows 11.
