Import readable files for ( Cad ) Solidworks

I'm trying to understand the correct process and software for taking a company logo or photograph and be able to read it and then import it to my cad system Solidworks for modification and then translate it back to a format for promotional items. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Craig

This page shows the SolidWorks file formats:

Several of the image formats that it can export should work in XD, but, XD doesn't keep any sort of linkage to any graphic file. If you have a placeholder logo that you then improve in SolidWorks, you can't have it automatically update inside the XD prototype. You would need to import the new version into XD and replace the old version.

Did you try using the Solidworks forum? Welcome | SOLIDWORKS Forums I am guessing that the experts there are better suited to answer your question.
