Adobe Animate not opening with new Surface Pro 7 loaded with all the Windows latest software updates

Hi fellow animators, I just got a new Surface Pro 7 computer loaded with all the latest updates however when I go to open up Adobe Animate it takes a running leap and hits the wall crashing down before entering the creative castle, and suggestions. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no avail. Please help, I have a fun little project I am working on today, but can't get it going because Animate won't open.

    Hi mate,

Yours is the second report in only a couple of days that Animate (I assume 19.2.1) is not working on the Surface Pro 7.

Here is a similar post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/Animate/Surface-Pro-7-Crashing/td-p/10691124

If you have not done so, check for driver updates, but since it is a brand new model I'm quite sure that you have already done so...

My only suggestion is that some hardware component in the MS Surface 7 Pro is triggering the 'unsupported hardware' response in Animate and it is closing down.

This would be one of the risks and frustrations of early adopters.

I'm sure that in time it will be resolved with either a hotfix from Adobe or a driver update for the Surface.

But unfortunately, I doubt that this will happen very quickly, so you'd better go back to your old computer for Animate work, while keeping an eye on the forum.

    All the best!

Turns out the Surface Pro 7 will not run Adobe Animate because it only has 1.3 GHZ and the software requires 2 GHZ or more to run. Had to return to get a 15" model surface, but frankly I prefer working on the smaller screen this one is a bit clunky and awkward, but runs faster.
