I am looking to publish an app suitable for both iOS and Android.
I understand delivering to the likes of Amazon, they insert DRM to the app. I beieve Google require it hard wired before delivery and iOS is similar to Amazon.
Is there a simple document on DRM for a novice or is there a knowledgable persopn prepared to share some insight ?
1 Correct answer
The vast majority of my user login is enterprise as my clients all want inter-company enterprise apps except for product demos on itunes. Thus the login systems were already in place. Their users were plenty happy and acclimated to using the login system concept. Otherwise I can't say.

Thank you Sinious
I' not looking to protect content sucha as sound or video in a swf, I'm looking to distribute Apps delevered in iOS and Android format.
I don't think apple is a problem as they put in their own DRM before they make the product available. It seems Amazon for the Android market do the ssame thing as they request whether or not you want it.
what I would like to find out is in the android arena, does Google do the same... from what I can see I don't think so, it seems to need to be written with the DRM function included. I know in Eclipse there is a library available for this, but I don't know how this applies in Flash Professional.
I don't know whether I need to get it to a point of being ready for delivery to say Amazon, and then maybe export what I have to exlipse and then add more for Google etc.
With the different platforms it all seems a little disjointed, whereas with Flash CS6 I was thinking it was a little more managed.
Thanks for the reference Sinious, but I think it is different to what I am asking after.

In multi-platform situations like this I just make a user system. If you're not in my database it doesn't matter where you got the app, I'd restrict access to using it via the login system. The best thing is all platforms can use it an it centralizes the information of the app so when you log into the ipad, iphone, android or desktop/web version of the app your account info is the same.
Otherwise, have you seen this in Adobe docs:

Hi Sinious - sorry about delay in reply. Thank you. I was kinda thinking that way as far as user-login. I have not yet looked at the links but will, thanks. Have you put any through iOS with user-login, seems a bit less likely to be a concearn there - how was 'user-login' received?
