I usually use "New Anim Clip"
Is this a great tool or am I doing something harder than I need?

So "New Anim Clip" is an extension for Flash / Animate (toonmonkey.com/extensions.html)
Applies when copying frames from your timeline to place within a symbol. It corrects the problem that the position of the drawings on the stage is different from when you copied them
