Captivate 8.01 software simulation capture window incorrect size when multi-monitor system with 4K UHD screen resolution set to 3840x2160

Well after 3 hours of trying every avenue to file a bug I've resorted to posting here.
First no phone support so off to website.
The website bug page let me enter information it but I received a NDR email that it wasn't submitted.

Concise problem statement:
I have a multi-monitor setup.
One monitor is 4K UHD driven by USB3.0SS DisplayLink adapter (Clud-3D CSV 2302). Other are driven off Radeon display adapter.
Resolutions: 3840x2160, 1920x1200, 1920x1080, and 1920x1080.
Before connecting and installing the DisplayLink software and drivers Adobe Captivate 8 Screen Recordings for simulations would display correct side in red window for custom settings.
Now after added the DisplayLink adapter and 4KUHD monitor if I set customer capture window to size of window to capture for software simulation like 1280x1024 or 1024x768 the red capture window is larger than the actual window or screen to be captured.
For example let's say I Remote Desktop to a machine that I want to capture the display of and set the RDP display size to 1280x1024 and fire up captivate and select new software simulation.
Then select Screen Area -> Customer Size of 1280x1024.
The red capture area now extends beyond the 1920 x 1080 size of the monitor on which the RDP screen is showing correct size.
If I pull in the red window manually it shows that I will record at customer size of 892 x 672.
This is unacceptable.
Expected result is that custom size should match actual screen setting when running all monitors at maximum resolution.
The workaround I have to do is change the 4K UHD monitor display to 2560x1440 and capture settings/red window shows and captures correctly.
