Flash Player 10 = EPIC FAIL!!!

I can not get flash player to work with firefox and windows xp. whenever I go to places like youtube all I get is "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." Why aren't there more complaints about this here? BECAUSE THEY CAN'T LEAVE MESSAGES WITHOUT FLASH PLAYER INSTALLED!!! Has anyone figured this out?

    yes, I have the same problem on youtube.

    It says: Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version

    of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash Player.

    I allready downloaded the new Flash Player version. and I still can't play a video on youtube.

    I don't know about JavaScript.
