I am trying to install Quick Books 2005 on my newer computer (windows 7).  I am getting an error message saying that I need Flash Player 7 for the install.  I already have Flash Player 11 and 12.  I have tried to get FP 7 from the archives but it points to my printer/scanner.  What now?

Flash 7 is as old as QB 2005.

Seriously? If you're using QB you shouldn't be using ANYTHING older than 2010. Intuit will tell you that, and it's NOT just to sell you a new version. There have been more than a quarter million pages of tax law changes since 2005, and you're BEGGING for trouble using a QB version that old. I assume you're using it for a business, since most people don't use QB for personal finance mgmt.  Quickbooks Pro is $249 (http://quickbooks.intuit.com/products).... That's about a dime-to-the-dollar of what you'll spend for a retainer if you have to hire a halfway decent tax attorney, because something 9 years old didn't figure right in 2014.

If you're insistent on using a nine-year-old version (of Flash Player and QB), the zip for version 7 is here: Flash Player 7

Thanks, it is an old version of the contractor version and all I really need it for are the estimates and invoices.
