Hello,
I looked for Adobe forum for developers but failed, so forward me please if this is not right place for the question.
We are developing a software that cuts out some unwanted scenes (such as advertisements) from a video (AVC inside MP4) with partial reencoding of the source. The result video contains some original GOPs (with a pair of SPS/PPS) followed by several reencoded GOPs (with another pair of SPS/PPS). Finally the video is played back with Adobe flash (e.g. StrobeMediaPlayback). The problem is that such videos are not played correctly with the latest Google Chrome (35.0.1916.153) and Adobe flash (14.0.0.125) on some configurations (e.g. Windows 7, 32-bit version, Nvidia card) when "Hardware acceleration" is switched on. Even if the second SPS differs from the first by even one parameter the second part of the video is not decoded. What does "Hardware acceleration" mean in this case? DXVA? Or does a browser decide what technology to use? Are there some known restrictions?
Thanks
