I was just curious when you guys were going to make a flash player that is compatable with the Playstation 3's web browser? I use that browser all the time, but the lack of a flash player really limits my enjoyment. Is there something in the works?

I heard that PS3 already can run flash!? correct me if am wrong

It can read all the youtube.com pages. But if you go to GameTrailers.com, it can't load anything there. I don't know why that's different, but it doesn't work.

If you can load YouTube that means PS3 can run Flash. In GameTrailers.com, try changing between ( Flash , Quicktime, Windows MP ). they are located under the player box. Wish that will work ;)

i am another ps3 owner having trouble downloading the flash player. gamesites keep telling me i need it and they suggest visiting your site. i have started an adobe accnt. but i'm still having no luck with the download. PLEASE HELP? thanks

Hey. I am having same PS3 Flash Player issues, and its getting worse. Fewer and fewer sites are becoming available. I couldnt even get an answer from Sony support but am calling other depts. Ill let you know if I get anywhere and would like you to do the same. Its up to us gamers to help each other since the people we gave our 600 bucks to dont care. Have you heard anything from Adobe? I am begining to think we will not only never fix this, but that we wont ever hear a single word that even aknowledges there is a problem.

IT BECAUSE WE ONLY HAVE A BASIC FORM OF FLASH PLAYER AND WE NEED ONGOING SUPPORT FROM ADOBE LIKE PC USERS TO HAVE THE LATEST VERSION. THEY DO NOT REPLY TO THEIR E-MAILS SO WE WILL PROBABLY BE IGNORED FOREVER UNLESS THE DEMAND TO HAVE REGULAR UPDATES FOR PLAYSTION INCREASES AND MORE AND MORE PEOPLE USE THE PS3 WEB BROWSER.

PLUS ADOBE KNOW THAT PS3 AS A PLATFORM HAS A RELATIVELY SHORT LIFESPAN AND THAT PEOPLE WHO OWN A PS3 WILL ALSO OWN A PC OR MAC WHICH THEY SET UP THEIR INTERNET WITH. SO THEY HAVE NO INCENTIVE TO DEVELOP A PS3 UPDATE OF FLASH PLAYER AND DISTRIBUTE IT FREE. MY HUNCH IS THAT THE PS3 VERSION OF FLASH PLAYER IS FLASH LITE THAT SONY USE IN THEIR MOBILE PHONES AND PSP, AND THAT MIGHT BE WHY WE GET YOUTUBE AND NOT MUCH ELSE.

EH! you know what? if they're not going to read this forum, why do they put it up here, and if they do, how come they're not doing anything about it? I think the only way to get their attention is to send them an email, you know what im saying? Make them fix it now!
