3d pdf in acrobat pro 8.0 appears blank

New Here ,
Sep 17, 2018 Sep 17, 2018

I have big trouble using acrobat pro 8.0 in which 3d pdf some versions work and some don't work. Upon downloading free version of acrobat dc it work fine and 3d pdf can be seen.

It a shame that paid version of acrobat 8.0 does not display 3d pdf where as free version works easily then whats the point in buying pro version paying big bucks. I have checked all 3d settings but no luck. Tried contacting customer care waste of time no support for acrobat professional 8.0 spent more time in reaching them.

Has anybody come across same issue in acrobat 8.0 viewing 3d pdf blank images and whats the resolution.

I can clearly see the 3d tool bar opening and giving options but image is blank.

Thanks,

Shiva Gowda

Acrobat 8 Pro is an exceptionally old version of Acrobat released nearly 12 years ago and had much more rudimentary support for 3D PDF constructs than more modern versions. There are many incompatibilities between Acrobat 8 (designed and tested for Windows XP and very early MacOS X versions) and current operating system versions.

There is no “free version of Acrobat DC.” There is the free Reader DC which should be able to fully and properly display properly-generated 3D PDF. And you can run Acrobat DC Pro in trial mode for one week.
