Acrobat Cleaner Tool Mac

New Here ,
Dec 21, 2020 Dec 21, 2020

Is there a working link to download Adobe Acrobat Cleaner for Mac? The one on https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html is currently a dead link with no download available. We use this tool regularly.

Please advise.

Hi Nancy,

you are not helpful, when posting the URL for the Mac, that leads to the same not working link, which was mentioned in the question.

I would prefer something that can do the job (uninstall outdated Acrobat DC versions on macOS Catalina)

Have a nice day

This worked for me (requires Creative Cloud):

- start "Adobe Creative Cloud" (path: /Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud/Adobe Creative Cloud)

- click on the "•••" at the end of the "Acrobat DC" line and select "uninstall"

remark: the old Acrobat installation does not yet vanish from the Finder

- install Acrobat DC from within the running app "Creative Cloud"

remark: now you have the old version of Acrobat replaced by the latest one.

If this is not all you want, go on as follows:

- in the still running app "Creative Cloud" click again on the "•••" at the end of the "Acrobat DC" line and select "uninstall" again

remark: and again... the old Acrobat installation does not yet vanish from the Finder

- now go to the Finder and run the app "Acrobat Uninstaller" - it is now a version, that does just what its name says

- and voilà: Acrobat DC is gone
