Acrobat Crashes when comparing files

Community Beginner ,
Aug 06, 2024 Aug 06, 2024

Whenever we try to compare files acrobat crashes.  New acrobat closes without error, old acrobat brings up the error report dialog box (which I have filled in).  I have tried this with multiple files and even with two very basic three line files.

Version number is 2024.002.20991 (64 Bit), and I am using Windows 10 Business 10.0.19045 Build 19045.

Any help you can give would be great.

Crashing seems to be caused by an add-in that we have installed.  Once this is uninstalled another error occurs.  This one reads:

'Acrobat could not create the report document!'
