Acrobat DC Can't export PDF to plain or ascii text

I have a large number of large pdf files that have been ocr'ed via Acrobat xi. I'm now trying to use the latest version of Acrobat DC. Every effort to convert to plain text or to accessible text fails.  Typically the export file has one line and the rest is empty; sometimes the export is fully blank.

I've used Foxit Pro (trail) to test this and each file is successfully exported to text in Foxit.

Is there a solution?

For my purposes, I may have to remove Acrobat DC and go elsewhere.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,

I just ran a test with Acrobat Pro DC, and it successfully exported an accessible txt file.  I wonder if there are still portions of your OCR'ed docs that remain images that are getting in the way of progress for you.

My best,

Dave

Thanks for your experience. I'll try doing "recognizing text" again on the

failed files. Interestingly I had success with a large pdf that was still

in image format.

I also seem to getting better results when I use the "Save As" menu and use

the Export submenu.

Thanks,

Bob
