Today, without warning, I found that my user interface has been completely changed without any warning whatsoever. No info about it or how to get rid of it.
Fortunately, after about 1/2 hour of fumbling around I found an option to disable "new experience" (or something like that) and this restored the previous interface.
This isn't just an issue with a changed layout or cosmetic upgrade.
This is a serious usability problem since the entire structure of how to use the program (DC Pro) seems totally changed - and this is certainly not something that should be foisted on unsuspecting customers without warning.
My fear now is that this "new experience" may become the new standard user interface ..... I hope not, since I couldn't even figure out how to use it (let alone do so productively).
As customers we aren't here to have to invest time and money in learning how to use a completely changed user interface just because someone in Adobe thinks it's a good idea to have a new standart ......
Adobe please take note !

Same thing with me... very odd new interface. Couldn't find any desired options for Scanning/Enhancing without OCR/Recognizing Text. Terrible! Just click on View>Disable New Acrobat. It will have to restart the app. Ahhh, much better!

As I always struggled with the old interface and I find the new interface much more streamlined, I can nevertheless understand your fear. And I think that you are right. The direction is going to the new UI. For the moment, Adobe still allows users to choose, as the new UI is not yet finished and apparently does not yet allow the same functionality. But certainly, the next major release will have missing either one or the other interface. So, if you do not like the new experience, you need to make your voice heard. https://acrobat.uservoice.com/

So, where does one find a detailed user guide that explains how to use the new interface? If the changes were intuitive and not so dramatic, instructions probably wouldn't be necessary. I've used PCs since.... they first came on the scene. It's not so much fear on my part, but just plain ease of functionality.

You are not alone in this universe. I've worked with WordStar at the time on my CP/M computer…
I didn't check the manual, I did close the interactive introduction. I'm doing this the hard way and had until now no major problems.
