I am on Creative Cloud (all applications are up to date) using Mohave 10.14.2 iOS.
Acrobat opens and shows the menu bar. When I try to open any PDF using the File>Open or double clicking on the actual file, Acrobat does nothing. No spinning wheel, nothing. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling and restarting. I've run disk utility.
Any suggestions?

Please confirm the exact version of Acrobat DC you are working on? Make sure that you have latest patch of Acrobat DC installed.
Open Acrobat>Help>Check for update.
I assume you have not been able to open any pdf? You may please refer to the troubleshooting steps suggested in the article here:
If your Acrobat still doesn't let you to open the pdfs, then you might need to uninstall it using cleaner tool- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and reinstall it.
Let us know if this doesn't help. And if you have managed to find the solution, then please share your findings.

Are you experiencing the same issues? What is your OS? Does Acrobat Reader work? Did you try turning off the enhanced security preference?
