Acrobat does not recognize installed font

I have a True Type font installed in my system (Mac OS10.12.6) that Acrobat DC does not seem to recognize. I want to specify that font for a fillable form field. Is there a way to make that happen?

Some fonts are "protected" to never been embedded in a document.

You should check the licence.
