Acrobat does'nt manager InDesign interactivity

Gentili Signori di Adobe,

​Scrivo in qualità di vostro cliente fedele da oltre 15 anni, sottoscrittore del piano Creative Cloud che include la suite completa di software professionali. Nonostante l'ampio utilizzo e il profondo apprezzamento per strumenti come InDesign, devo esprimere la mia profonda delusione e la mia ferma protesta per la gestione e il supporto delle funzionalità interattive nei file PDF, in particolare sulle versioni mobili di Adobe Acrobat Reader.

​Ho recentemente investito tempo e risorse nella creazione di un catalogo interattivo, sfruttando le funzioni di InDesign (pulsanti, link e segnalibri). Tuttavia, ho riscontrato che molte di queste funzionalità, pur operando perfettamente sulla versione desktop di Acrobat Reader, non sono supportate o semplicemente non funzionano sulle versioni per dispositivi mobili (Android e iOS). In particolare il mancato supporto di Acrobat di funzioni vitali come "vai a vista precedente" rendono inutile l'uso di InDesign come generatore di riviste e pubblicazioni interattive.

​Questa incompatibilità rende la suite di software Creative Cloud un ecosistema incompleto e non affidabile per la produzione di contenuti destinati al pubblico mobile. La mancanza di supporto per funzionalità standard come i link interni "Vai a Pagina" o "Vai a vista precedente" non è accettabile per un prodotto leader del settore. Mi vedo costretto a sacrificare l'esperienza dell'utente e rimuovere funzionalità essenziali per evitare confusione, vanificando parte del mio lavoro.

​Ritengo che questa negligenza nella standardizzazione e nel supporto sia un grave disservizio che compromette la qualità del mio lavoro e la fiducia che ripongo nei vostri prodotti.

​Chiedo una spiegazione ufficiale e un impegno concreto per affrontare e risolvere questo divario di funzionalità tra le versioni desktop e mobili di Acrobat Reader. Un'esperienza utente coerente su tutte le piattaforme non dovrebbe essere un'opzione, ma un prerequisito.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback and for being such a long-term Creative Cloud customer. We completely understand the effort you’ve invested in building interactive content in InDesign and the frustration when features don’t work consistently between desktop and mobile Acrobat Reader.

Currently, Acrobat mobile apps (iOS/Android) support only a subset of interactive features. Functions such as “Go to Previous View” or advanced navigation actions are not yet available. In some cases, this is due to technical limitations of mobile platforms, which don’t handle navigation states the same way as desktop applications.

That said, your feedback is very valuable. If you’re able to share a sample of your interactive PDF, we can pass it along to our product team to analyze the behavior more closely:

• Upload it to a secure file-sharing service (like Adobe Document Cloud, Dropbox, or Google Drive) and share the link here, or

• If you prefer, send it privately via a direct message. To send a private message, click on the envelope icon in the top right corner.

I enclose the partial version (the original is too big to be sent) of the
interactive PDF created with inDesign. The previous plan to put links to
the paintings described inside the various articles was canceled due to the
unavailability in Acrobat for Android of the command *"return to the
previous view*", available in InDesign. As you can see, in the articles
before the painting's description there are many references to the single
painting, but have been cancelled because it was impossible, during the
reading of the article, to jump to the painting and then come back to the
article
*I strongly suggest upgrading Acrobat for Android to the full Actions
available in InDesign, otherwise the production of interactive magazines or
catalogues will not be possible.*
