New Here ,
Mar 03, 2025 Mar 03, 2025

Hello,

When trying to install Acrobat Reader it repeatedly fails. Stalls at around 55% - 60%

OS: Windows 11

Version: Latest i could find on website or auto download

Install method: Creative Cloud, manual download, updating

I am installing with Admin rights. Furthermore tried the cleanup tool and this does not find a Acrobat installation at all.

What else can i try here besides a full reinstallation of the clients Laptop?49dc7cc8-b0f9-40ec-bf94-0abf565fc14d.jpg6f49e8e8-91e9-413b-9d2a-120d0fa4a00f.jpg

Can you uninstall? If yes, uninstall. If no, use immediately AcroCleaner. AcroCleaner — Acrobat Desktop Tools and Utilities

So the sequence is:

Uninstall . AcroCleaner . Redownload . Install

I cannot uninstal because the program is not listed in apps. I cannot install because it fails. I cannot cleanup too because it finds no installed Adobe.

Hello Mehdi!

I hope you are doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Please ensure that all mandatory and optional updates for your operating system are installed. Then, reboot your device and use the Acrobat Cleaner Tool to remove any corrupt or conflicting installation files. Restart the machine again and reinstall Acrobat.

For testing purposes, please create a test user profile with full admin rights, and install Acrobat.

If the issue persists, please collect logs from the affected machine and share them with us for further investigation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
