Hi All,
I am also having issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro version 19.012.20035, trying to combine a few PDF files and a Word Document
All files are small in file size less than 1MB each, Tried to copy the file from Network share to local (Desktop) and would give the same freezing screen without any error message, using Office 2016 for word if this will help.
Hoping there is someone who had encountered this and resolved the freezing issue.
Thanks

There is a new update that was announced a few minutes ago in this forums to the 2019.012.20036 release.
It has some improvements and added options in the General settings ---> Basic Tools.
Also, there was another user recently that posted issues trying to convert from Word to PDF. May not necessary apply to your case, but check if forcing an update in both the operating system and the MS Office product helps.
In my prior post I was also suggesting that user to see if lowering the security levels of the Macros (if any) in that file would help, to include uninstalling and reinstalling the Visual Basic Add-Ins embedded in the MS Office product that handle the PDF conversion from word

I'll try to update the version to 20036 and let see if this will fix the problem, I'll keep you posted
Thanks
