Acrobat is corrupted, can't repair or uninstall

I uninstalled and then reinstalled Acrobat on my Windows PC, but it doesn't work after the reinstallation. After a few seconds, I just get a small popup with "Acrobat quit unexpectedly" and linking to guides that didn't help.

When I try to repair the program, I get "Error 2753. The file 'acroservicesupdater.exe' is not marked for installation". If I instead try to uninstall it again, I get the same error, but for 'FullTrustNotifier.exe'.

I've Googled these error messages and found suggestions (all a few years old) to delete certain registry keys, for example: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/fulltrustnotifier-exe/td-p/10266620

However, I don't have those registry keys. The closest I found was HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\RDCNotificationAppx, but it's different enough that I don't know if I should delete it or if that'll just make things worse.
