I have a Mac running Seqouia 15. I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on it and attempted to enter my license key. After enter the key, Adobe wants me to sign in. When I sign in, I get the following message: Acrobat Licensing Application quit Unexpectedly. It is just continuous loop of Adobe wanting me to sign in and Licensing Application quiting Unexpectedly.

Hi @Ron31407832j75x,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
Would you mind trying and providing permissions to the OOBE folder for the licensing app to run?
To do so:
- Quit the Acrobat Licensing Application and Acrobat.
- Open Terminal and type the following command:
chmod 777 /Users/<your_username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/
Once done, restart your computer.
Hope this helps.

Hi I upgraded my older MacBook Pro (intel) to Sequoia and my Adobe Acrobat version 15.006.30527 kept working. I then migrated my system to a new Mac Mini M4 and am having this same problem. I used the terminal command :
chmod 777 /Users/<your_username>/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/OOBE/
I then tried :
chmod -R 777 /Users/<your_username>/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/OOBE/
and it still did not work.
Acrobat Licensing Application runs and I get the Account Access Notification on my iPhone which I approve , but then Acrobat Licensing Application quits and Acrobat does not startup. It could be a permissions error on the Acrobat app, or on another file that Acrobat Licensing Application is writing to.

Hi @Roy_Smith @Ron31407832j75x,
Thanks for writing back!
Would you mind trying out the below steps:
Go to Finder-> Application-> Adobe Acrobat-> Acrobat-> right-click-> Show Package Contents-> Contents-> MacOS-> Acrobat-> double-click.
Let me know the error you see when trying to launch the app. Keep the terminal running the whole time.

Hi, thanks for checking into this. I followed your instructions, twice, and the same thing happened. The Terminal windows logged out saying [Process Completed] and nothing further was added during the sign in process. The terminal text was:

Thanks, @Roy_Smith @Ron31407832j75x, for the prompt responses.
Let me get this investigated further with the dev team.
Please collect the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html and share them via the document cloud link https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html for further investigation.
Also, the network logs from your console. The steps mentioned here: Find log messages and activities in Console on Mac – Apple Support (UK)
This should help us narrow down the approach and get to a resolution quickly.
Thanks,
Souvik

Hi Souvik,
I collected Adobe CC logs: File: AdobeLogs_20241203_084145_552-mac-GS.zxp
I'm not sure which Console Network Logs you want, there are alot - but here is the one that gets created when my Adobe Account Login Fails. Let me know if you need others.
Thanks for your help with this.

Hi @Ron31407832j75x @Roy_Smith,
We have a workaround for the issue. Please try and let me know if this helps:
1. If Acrobat 2020 is signed in on the system, sign out Acrobat 2020 first.
2. Uninstall the current installation of Acrobat 2020 Classic.
3. Do a fresh installation and choose the; I have a serial number option in the installer and enter the valid serial number in the installer.
4. Follow the remaining installer prompts to install the product.
5. When Acrobat launches, it will ask only for the user's sign-in and will not ask for the serial number.
6. The product shall work fine after you enter valid credentials.

Hi thanks for continuing to look into this. In my first post/reply on Nov 30 I mentioned that I was running Acrobat version 15.006.30527, but it was crashing the same way the OP's Acrobat Classic 2020 was.
In my troubleshooting I did uninstall Acrobat 2015 and Acrobat Reader. When I attempted to reinstall Acrobat 2015, the installer Acrobat 2015 Installer.pkg from Acrobat_2015_Web_WWMUI.dmg crashed. I expect it wasn't compatible with Silicon Macs. I ended doing a reinstall of my system to get back to before the uninstall in hopes of finding a fix. I realize this is an old likely deprecated application, but I don't use it too often - just for helping the Society of St. Vincent de Paul with some forms creation and modification. Not enough to subscribe to the current version. Thanks again for trying to find a workaround.

Has there been any solution to this problem ?
I am wondering if a solution for Acrobat Pro 2020 would also work for my Acrobat Pro 2015 ?

Same issue for me BTW with Acrobat Pro 2017 on an Intel MacBook Pro, with Sequoia 15.3.1: Acrobat Licensing Application quit unexpectedly after successful login with Adobe ID. Tried all suggestions posted here to no avail.

I have the same issue on my Mac.
Installation of acrobat 2020 with license key no longer runs. I'm prompted to login to Adobe account then the App quits.
I tried an uninstall and clean install with entry of my Acrobat 2020 license key. But still the same issue.
Acrobat 2020 App installs OK but it just quits when I sign-in to Adobe account.

Same. M4 macOS 15.3.2 nets blank "Acrobat Licensing Application" window hang. Tried the OOBE (1 & 2) suggestions, install/reinstall, AcroClean tool, and no resolution.
So, off to Console.app I went, and summary: looks like code signing issue.
