For the past month or two, everytime I try to print a file from Adobe Acrobat, I get a dialogue box pop up from Distiller with the message.
"Acrobat Distiller would like to access data from other apps."
I am unable to print the file until I hit allow on that dialogue box. Not only is this annoying, but it seems to take additional time to print anything as Distiller seems to be loading in the background before this pop-up appears.
I am running the latest version of Adobe Acrobat CC and Distiller on a Mac running the latest OS.

What are the exact versions (not latest, that may or may not be true, and after the next update, it is not true anymore.)?

Hi
Another Mike with exactly the same issue, very painful to wait for distiller to do its thing every time I try printing an laser from Acrobat.
I use Sonama 14.3.1 and my Acrobat version is 2023.008.2055 which i understand are the latest versions, is an option to uninstall distiller?

I have this problem, also, just emerging recently. Hoping for a response from Adobe. Is it a bug?

Hi there,
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
On Sonoma, distiller experience is not a bug. It was implemented to make printing by Adobe Acrobat work which stopped working on Sonoma due to an API deprecation by Apple.
Our team is actively working on this and the fix will be available in the future updates.
Thanks for your time and patience so far.

Thank you for the update Amal! Looking forward to the update. I just had to print a load of receipts for tax season and it took 4 times longer than it should. LOL

Go into Settings to Privacy & Security to Full Disk Access and add Adobe Distiller setting the toggle on. As long as the security issue of app sharing doesn't concern you, this makes the dialog box go away.

What Brent said worked for me - Go into Settings to Privacy & Security to Full Disk Access and add Adobe Distiller setting the toggle on.
