Hi!
For sometime now I have been unable to use preflight in Acrobat DC. Using Win 10.
When clicking "Preflight" acrobat crashes with the attached error. Re-installing Acrobat did not help.
Any ideas?!

Hi SMT83,
Thanks for reporting the issue.
We tried to reproduce the same scenario in-house but no issue was observed at our end. On debugging the error message it appears to have something with the preferences/settings.
Can you please try the following steps to isolate the issue further :
1. Rename the Settings folder present at %APPDATA%\Adobe\Acrobat\Preflight Acrobat Continuous\ to some other name.
2. Relaunch Acrobat and check if issue is reproducible or not.
If issue is still reproducible then:
Please share your observations and contents of "Preflight Acrobat Continuous" directory with us for further investigations.

Thanks Priyanka Jain!
Renaming the folder did the trick!
The software created a new "Preflight Acrobat Continuous" directory and everything seems to be working now. 🙂

Hi SMT83,
Glad to hear that this solution worked for you. Can you please zip and share the original "Preflight Acrobat Continuous" directory with us so that we can investigate and fix the root cause of the corrupted directory.
