Acrobat Pro 9 installed but will not accept serial number

I installed Acrobat Pro 9 separate from Adobe design Std 5. I downloaded it from the Adobe site. It installed just fine and I can use it on the trial basis, but it will not accept the serial number. Adobe says it is a valid serial number. I uninstalled and ran the cleaner and reinstalled - still won't take the serial number. I called Adobe, but was told 9 is not supported so they wouldn't help. I'm on Windows 10. I need this for basic form creation and really don't want or need to upgrade to DC. Please! Is there any way you can help!? thanks

Hello Geralde,

As per the description above, you are not able to activate the Acrobat Pro 9 license on your Windows 10 machine, Is that correct?

The record shows that the license of Acrobat Pro 9 is a part of the Volume license of Adobe Design Standard CS 5 which is registered with your Adobe ID.

In order to activate Acrobat Pro 9 on your machine, you have to download and install the Adobe Design Standard CS5 and choose custom installation and choose Acrobat only and complete the installation. Then use the serial key for activation.

To download the setup of CS5, please log in on Adobe's licensing website https://licensing2.adobe.com with your current Adobe ID and password and download the setup. You may also refer to Adobe Licensing Website | Serial numbers, orders, and accounts

Note: Acrobat 9/CS5 is already declared as End os support product, and Acrobat 9 is never tested on Windows 10, so above suggestions may or may not work on Windows 10, for more information, you can refer to End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)

Hello, 10 years ago I installed Adobe Design Standart CS6 ( I have original product key). But several months ago ( when everything worked well), my computer was hacked and after hacker attack all my files were encrypted and I had to install new Windows 10 and reinstall Adobe Design pack. But after new reinstallation all Adobe working correctly, only Adobe Acrobat pro not working and if I open program wrote that are the Trial version...If I licensing and input original product key program accept this key but anyway wrote that are Trial version...and I can not use Acrobat Pro:(
