Acrobat Pro cannot create a shared review readable by Acrobat Reader

Hello,

Acrobat Pro cannot create a shared review readable by Acrobat Reader.

After creating the pdf flie with the "_review" extension and opening it in Acrobat Reader, I get the following dialog box:

I strongly suspect Acrobat Pro is creating the new pdf file with this problem:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-extended-pdfs-and-adobe-root-ca-expiry.html

My workaround is to then use Adobe Pro to "Create a Copy" of the generated _review PDF.

The copy can be open by Acrobat Reader and will connect to the share server.

Can someone confirm this is a problem and suggest any alternative fix?

Thanks,

Howard

Try it yourself. Use the tool "Send for Comments" and then create your PDF postpended by default with "_review"

Then try to open it with Acrobat Reader.
