Acrobat Pro: choppy scrolling

New Here ,
Apr 15, 2020 Apr 15, 2020

I have the same document open in Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader.

The Acrobat Pro file scrolls extremely choppily - but the Acrobat Reader has perfect smooth scrolling.

I have enabled Page Display -> Enable Scrolling on each program. I've also set the accessibility settings to enable this on program start. I've also tried disabling Enchanced Security.

What can I do to fix this?

Compare the Preferences settings in both Reader and Acrobat, amd mirror in Acrobat the  exact same configuration settings that you have in Reader.

Also, be aware, that if this doesn't work, Adobe Acrobat has more features than Reader. You may want to disable all Accessibility settings, for example, and disable 2D hardware acceleration on startup.

Additionally, If you are using Adobe Acrobat with other Adobe products via thr CC Desktop App, disable the CC Desktop App.

See how Acrobat behaves without the CC app running in the bachground.
