Hi,

Since today Acrobat Pro DC automatically opens a .temp file at launch of the application.

I then close the document without saving it, but next launch it opens another .temp file.

Can't get rid of this... did a Repair Installation but that does not change anything.

Hi Jeroenp,

Thanks for reaching out. As described above, Acrobat Pro DC opens .temp file at every launch, correct?

Is this a behavior with a particular file or with any PDF file you open?

As you have already tried repairing the installation without any success, please try to reset the preferences and see if that works for you.

Please use the steps provided in the help article https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/How-to-reset-Acrobat-Preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792...

If it still doesn't work,

Let us know how it goes

Amal

Hi Amal,

I don't even have to open a .PDF file. As soon is i launch the application itself the temp file opens.

Will try your suggestions now and let you know.
